(ALVARADO, TX) – A Johnson County couple is facing charges of allegedly abusing the woman’s 2-year-old child.

 21-year-old Destiny Hilton and her boyfriend 27-year-old Jeffrey Kheao both of Alvarado have been arrested for injury to a child and endangerment of a child.  The Cleburne Times Review reports back in August, the child was taken to Cook Children’s hospital with bruises and burn marks, sparking an investigation into the couple.

The two were arrested this week and booked into the Johnson County Jail with bonds set at $50,000 each.
