Southwest warns passengers Michael may disrupt travel plans

(Dallas, TX) – Southwest Airlines is advising travelers that flights across the Gulf of Mexico this week may be affected by Hurricane Michael.

The storm officially became a Category 2 hurricane this morning.  The Dallas-based airline’s website says flights to and from New Orleans, Panama City, and Pensacola may be delayed, disrupted, diverted or canceled between today and Thursday.  Check with your airline if you have travel plans this week.
