(Mesquite, TX) — Utility workers from North Texas are on the road, headed to Florida and Georgia to help restore power in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.

Oncor deployed more than 100 crew members and dozens of trucks from their service center in Mesquite yesterday.  They’ll spend the next few days, if not weeks, clearing debris and replacing damaged power lines and poles in the hard-hit area where 1.2 million people were left without electricity after the storm.
