(Washington, DC) — Former President George H.W. Bush’s funeral is taking place this morning at the Washington National Cathedral.

The 41st president, who died Friday at age 94, has been lying in state in the Capitol Rotunda in DC since Monday evening.  Hundreds have filed past to say their last goodbyes.  A second funeral in Houston will follow on Thursday.  The former president will be buried on the grounds of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum at Texas A&M in College Station.

Per President Bush’s request before his death, close friends of the family The Oakridge Boys, will be singing “Amazing Grace” at the funeral in Houston.
