(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Nearly two dozen aircraft are getting ready to fly from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth to College Station today as part of the funeral honors for former President George H. W. Bush.

His casket is set to arrive by train at his presidential library and museum following services in Houston.  The aircraft will fly over the library in a missing man formation.  It will be the largest such formation ever, reflecting the former president’s service in the U.S. Navy and as Commander-in-Chief.

President George H. W. Bush’s name and the number 41 to signify his presidency are displayed on the aircraft that will lead a record-breaking 21-aircraft flyover at the late president’s memorial service in College Station.
