(Fort Worth, TX)  —  More than 800 pets have new homes after a big adoption event over the weekend.

The Humane Society of North Texas and Fort Worth Animal Care and Control co-sponsored a weekend-long Mega Adoption Event at Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth.  All but three of the 864 pets at the events found homes.  The remaining three dogs are free to adopt today at the Humane Society’s main shelter in Fort Worth.
