(Waco, TX) — A former Baylor University fraternity president is getting probation in a sex assault case.

A McLennan County judge approved the plea deal between prosecutors and Jacob Anderson Monday citing a background report from probation officers and legal briefs.  Anderson was given a 400-dollar fine, three years’ probation, and will have to go to counseling.  He was accused of attacking a woman in 2016 and choking her.

The victim told the court she was devastated by the plea agreement and also criticized the prosecutor for not being in court for the decision.
