(Austin, TX) — Governor Greg Abbott believes workforce development is key to Texas’ economic survival.

Abbott told a U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100 members, that the state has to focus on the future, meaning investment in the workforce.  The governor says it’s also important for Texas to make sure its economy is diverse and to keep taxes and regulations low.
