Florida’s “Party in the Pines Festival” has been canceled for 2018 due to “circumstances beyond our control,” according to organizers. Zac Brown Band, Little Big Town, Kip Moore and Luke Combs were among the scheduled acts for the two-day festival at Bienville Plantation in White Springs, Fla. A message on Twitter said “we are working on a plan to compensate ticket holders and sponsors. Details will be posted to our website … and social media pages soon,.” The festival was scheduled for Oct. 19-20, and Dan + Shay, Granger Smith, the Cadillac Three, Lindsay Ell, Cassadee Pope and Drew Baldridge were also on the bill. Robert Morey, the owner of Bienville Plantation, told the Lake City Reporter that there were many forces beyond their control, and that they intend to refund sponsors and fans.
