(Fort Worth, TX) – Police say a 44 year old woman died in a single-vehicle crash in North Fort Worth Sunday afternoon.

According to Fort Worth Police, the victim’s car t-boned the edge of a guard rail on the westbound side of North Loop 820 near Beach Street just after 1 p.m.  Teresa McGinnis was pronounced dead at the scene by MedStar.  Investigators say an off-duty Southlake firefighter stopped to render aid to the woman, but they didn’t get his name.

Police believe McGinnis may have suffered from a medical emergency, causing the wreck.  They’re waiting on an autopsy from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
