Iron Throne May Find A Home In Texas

(College Station, TX) — The Iron Throne from “Game of Thrones” may find a home in Texas.

The popular HBO series started its final season on Sunday. For the past few weeks, fans have participated in an international scavenger hunt to find six Iron Thrones placed in six different countries. The series is based on the novels of George R.R. Martin, who reportedly says he plans to donate one of the thrones to Texas A&M after the show ends.

The university’s Cushing Memorial Library has been the home of Martin’s letters and manuscripts since 1993. Martin received an Honorary Doctorate from A&M in 2016.
