H.W. Bush Grandson May Run For Congress

(Houston, TX) — The grandson of George H.W. Bush is considering running for the late president’s former seat in Congress.

Pierce Bush tells The Texas Tribune multiple people have reached out to him about challenging 7th District Democratic Congressman Lizzie Fletcher. Bush says he would be a big tent candidate but is currently focusing his efforts on Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, where he is CEO. He is the son of George H.W. Bush’s fourth child, Neil Bush.

George H.W. Bush represented the 7th Congressional District in the late 1960s.
