IndyCar Series

The month of May is the most special time at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It’s special for the track, the city, and drivers alike. So far it’s been a perfect May for Simon Pagenaud. He opened up last week with a win in the Indy Grand Prix, and followed that up Sunday by claiming the Indy 500 pole. This Sunday he’ll look to finish perfection with a win in the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series

Kyle Larson’s latest surge nets him one million dollars with Saturday night’s Monster Energy All Star Win. Larson held off Kevin Harvick to become only the second driver to win the Open and go to victory lane in the feature. While he was celebrating, Clint Bowyer was taking out his frustrations on Ryan Newman. The two drivers had an on-track disagreement that ended with Newman wrecking Bowyer on the cooldown lap. Once they stop on pit road, Bowyer quickly ran over to Newman’s car and began punching through the window with both fists. Both drivers were called to the NASCAR hauler afterwards.
