(Burleson, Tx) – After 53 years in business, the Burleson Star announced today its ceasing operations.
The longtime Johnson County paper first published in October of 1965. Over the years there were several ownership changes. Then on June 6th of this year, the Burleson Star printed its final paper and moved to a digital format only.
The publication tweeted a link to the final online edition with a farewell message from current owner Dianne Egan who thanked her hardworking staff.
