No Injuries Reported After Waxahachie Recycling Plant Burns

(Waxahachie, TX)  —  No injuries are being reported following an early morning fire at a Waxahachie recycling plant.

Flames broke out around 4:00 this morning at Oak Cliff Metal Recycling near I-35E and Butcher.  The fire caused classes to be canceled at Life High and Middle schools.

The Waxahachie Fire Department posted on Facebook  that tests conducted by the TCEQ and EPA regarding air quality in the area of the fire have not detected any harmful levels.  No word on what caused flames to break out.
