Meat Loaf Sues Hotel Over Injuries Suffered In Fall

(Fort Worth, TX) — Meat Loaf is suing the owners of a Fort Worth hotel for injuries he suffered when he fell off a stage.

The 72-year-old rock singer sued the Hyatt Corporation and the organizers of the Texas Frightmare Weekend. Last May, Meat Loaf was appearing at the event at the Hyatt Regency DFW when he fell off the back of the stage. The lawsuit says curtains made it hard to see the edge of the stage. He spent more than a month in the hospital with injuries to his neck, collarbone and shoulder.

He’s still undergoing physical therapy and says he can no longer perform music.
