(Arlington, TX) —  Arlington city leaders are shutting down a Pedicab program that serves fans attending Cowboys and Rangers games.

The city council on Tuesday unanimously passed an ordinance to ban Pedicabs in the Arlington city limits.  City leaders said they acted on complaints received from the Rangers and Cowboys organizations, as well as from residents.  The bicycle cabs have been permitted to operate on game days for about ten years.

Pedicab operators say people will lose their jobs even though they’ve followed the city’s rules.
