(Fort Worth, TX) — The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles is revoking a Fort Worth man’s politically themed license plate.

The plate reads “Jail 45” in reference to President Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States.  Air Force veteran Jerry Balkenbush got the plate in November, but the DMV is rescinding its initial approval after somebody complained in December.

Balkenbush’s is one of only a dozen to be approved and then revoked after a complaint.  The DMV rejected more than 4,500 plates in 2019.
