Fort Worth Residents Assist Waitress Whose Tip Was Stolen

(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth residents are stepping up to help a waitress after a customer swiped her tip off the table.

A week ago, a security camera at Tres Betos caught a man waiting for a carryout order as he stole a tip that a previous customer had left for Griselda Garcia, whom everybody calls Gorda.

The manager posted the video on Facebook in hopes of catching the thief. Instead, people came to the restaurant just to give Gorda a tip. Somebody started a GoFundMe page to benefit the single mom. So far she’s received hundreds of dollars.
