(Dallas, TX)  —  A Dallas high school destroyed by the October tornado now has all-new sporting gear for its baseball and softball teams.

Texas Rangers star Elvis Andrus donated the equipment to Dallas ISD’s Thomas Jefferson High School on Monday.  The school’s students received the helmets, bats, balls, gloves, and mitts at a surprise presentation on Monday.

The tornado also destroyed the school’s baseball field, so the Rangers offered the school the use of the team’s youth academy fields in West Dallas for home games and off-season training.
