(Dallas, TX) —  DFW Airport is not among the five airports nationwide that are now screening travelers from China for the coronavirus.

The Centers for Disease Control says the first case of the virus in the U.S. was confirmed in Washington State after a patient returned from China.  Officials with one local County Health and Human Services say they’re keeping an eye on the outbreak in China of the pneumonia-like virus that has sickened hundreds of people and killed several of them.

The CDC hasn’t issued a health alert for DFW airport or North Texas.
