Rocko is a nine year old Chihuahua that is looking for his perfect forever home. Sadly, Rocko found himself at the shelter when his previous owner passed away, and there was no family or friends who could take him. With all of the sudden changes in his life, Rocko has gotten a little shook up, and is pretty shy, especially around strangers. So he may bark at you at first, but don’t let that deter you! Just give him a little time, and some treats, and he’ll warm right up to you! He will just need a kind family who is willing to be patient with him and give him the time he needs to adjust. We were told that Rocko isn’t a huge fan of men, and may take longer to warm up to them, but that he adored the kids in his previous home. He has been friendly and outgoing with the other small dogs in his room, and should be happy to have another four-legged friend in his new home.
