(Cleburne, Tx) – Cleburne’s Mayor is calling out residents for not practicing social distancing at grocery stores.

After two confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the city, involving a 48-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man, Mayor Scott Cain posted a video on Facebook saying “to those who don’t want to follow the rules, there are consequences. Most of the community is doing their part. I will not allow a few to ignore safety and put our community at risk. Please take these orders seriously and let’s all do our part to get through this.”

Cain is asking families to send in just one person at a time into the grocery, because he believes there are too many people in the stores and they’re not practicing social distancing.  He’s also asking the grocery stores to sanitize the carts after each use.
