(Stephenville, Tx) – A budget shortfall is forcing layoffs at Tarleton State University.
TSU President, Dr. James Hurley sent an email out to faculty and staff announcing that as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, the university would have to make budget cuts which include cutting 34 positions, the reassignment of others and the phase out of the fashion studies program.
Hurley said the affected employees would be paid through August 31st.
