(Frisco, TX) — Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys failed to work out a long-term contract before the deadline.
The Dallas Morning News reports the two sides did not meet before yesterday’s 3 p.m. deadline meaning he’ll play under the franchise tag. It’s believed the quarterback is looking for a four-year-deal while Dallas wants five years.
Negotiations will now be pushed off until the end of next season.
