(Granbury, Tx) – A Pecan Plantation woman died in a house fire early Thursday morning.

The Hood County News reports 72-year-old Linda Hoshins may have been smoking in bed at the home on Prospect Hill.  The Hood County Fire Marshal’s Office says Young was on oxygen, which may have been a contributing factor to the fire.

Two other family members were in the home when they reported the fire about 5 a.m.  The were able to escape without injury.

The house was a total loss.
