(Fort Worth, TX) — A free coronavirus saliva test will be available to Tarrant County residents starting on Tuesday.
The tests will be administered at J.P. Elder Middle School in the northwest part of town. The staff at the drive-thru test site will collect a saliva sample instead of doing a nasal swab. The site will conduct 300 tests per day, which will be administered to people with or without symptoms.
People interested in a test will need to go online and register for an appointment.
