Keller ISD Delays Start Of School Until August 26th

(Keller, TX) — The Keller ISD is delaying the start of the school year for a week, until Wednesday, August 26th.

The Board of Trustees made the decision by a unanimous vote on Monday night after nearly two hours of public comment. Most teachers wanted the district to start the school year with remote learning only, but many parents wanted the option of either classroom learning or online. The board decided to offer parents the option of sending their kids back to class or having them learn online.

The first three days of school will be half-days.
