Fort Worth Hospital Reports Record Number Of Births In August

(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth hospital is reporting a record-setting number of births in August.

The maternity ward at the Women’s Hospital at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center delivered 581 newborns, shattering its previous one-month record of 553. A total of 297 boys and 284 girls came in at an average pace of 19 babies a day, including 13 sets of multiples.

The hospital reported its most deliveries in 24-hours with 32, the most boys delivered in a day with 18, and the most girls delivered in a day with 14.
