(Fort Worth, TX)  —  A woman is undergoing a mental evaluation after allegedly opening fire in a south Fort Worth neighborhood.

Police say this all unfolded yesterday morning when an Oncor employee knocked on her door at her home on Bryan Avenue to check an electric meter. That’s when police say the woman opened the door and pointed a handgun at the employee.

The employee ran back into his truck as the woman followed him, waving the gun, according to police. She then allegedly fired the gun when the employee drove away. She was taken into custody after police arrived.

No one was hurt in the gunfire.
