(Granbury, Tx) – The Hood County News reports that deputies from the Sheriff’s office reportedly chased a man on a motorcycle at speeds of up to 78 miles per hour on Tin Top Highway about 1 a.m. Sunday.

The driver, later identified as 39 year old Christopher Reyes Fuentes of Oak Trail Shores, gave chase with deputies in a short pursuit that ended at Hilltop Road and Peachtree Street with Fuentes wrecking his motorcycle.

Fuentes was not seriously injured and was found to be in possession of over a gram of methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

He was arrested and charged with evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance and for driving while license was invalid with a previous conviction.
