(Fort Worth, TX)  —  The top health official in Tarrant County says schools should go back to online-only instruction for now.

Public Health Director Dr. Vinny Taneja made the recommendation on Tuesday.  The county has an 11% coronavirus test positivity rate, higher than the statewide average of 7%.  Tens of thousands of students are back in Tarrant County classrooms.

Taneja says the kids should go back to learning from home, but there’s no sign that will happen.
