Fort Worth City Councilman Arrested For DWI

(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth City Council member faces DWI charges after Burleson police arrested him early Saturday morning.

Burleson Police say Cary Moon ran a stop sign on South Dobson Street, then drove his truck up onto the grass before pulling back into the street. When officers turned on the emergency lights to pull Moon over, he reportedly bumped into a curb.

Moon’s only comment about the incident is that he will assume responsibility for it. He currently serves District 4 on the Fort Worth City Council.
