(Austin, TX)  —  Texas is getting involved in a federal lawsuit against Google.

Attorney General Ken Paxton says Google has been harming customers and stifled innovation along with concerns about data protection, search services, and privacy.  The complaint says Google has almost 60% of the search engine market while suggesting it controls around 80% of general search queries in the U.S.

The Justice Department along with Texas and eleven other states are involved in the suit.
