Cowboys Will Start Gilbert Or Rush At QB

(Frisco, TX) — The Cowboys will have their fourth different starting quarterback in five games when they play the unbeaten Steelers on Sunday.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said either Garrett Gilbert, an SMU alumnus, or Cooper Rush would start. The two have thrown a total of nine NFL passes and have never started. Rookie Ben DiNucci started in the 23-9 loss in Philadelphia.

Andy Dalton is recovering from a concussion and tested positive for coronavirus this week. Dak Prescott suffered a season-ending ankle injury on October 11th.
