Suspect Arrested In Killing Of TX Actor

(Grand Prairie, TX) — A suspect is in custody on capital murder charges in connection with the death of a Texas actor.

Grand Prairie police say D’jon Antone shot Eddie Hassell to death last Sunday during a random robbery. They don’t believe the 18-year-old suspect knew Hassell. He’s being held on $500,000 bond. Hassell was in the Oscar-nominated film “The Kids Are All Right” and also appeared in the NBC show “Surface.” He grew up in Corsicana, but lived in Waco. T
