Woman Injured When Train Hits Her Car In Haltom City

(Haltom City, TX) — A woman is in the hospital after a Trinity Railway Express train hit her car on Saturday night in Haltom City.

Police say the accident happened at a railroad crossing on Minnis Drive near State Highway 121. The woman’s car was reportedly stopped on the tracks when the train ran into it. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Police say two TRE employees and 11 passengers on the train were unhurt.
