Crowley ISD Upgrades Security After Online Threat Against Students

(Crowley, TX) — Crowley ISD officials are increasing security measures in response to a rumor involving a possible attack on children.

A social media post warned a hate group may try to hurt kids of color in Crowley schools on Inauguration Day. As a result, district officials increased police presence on its campuses.

A Crowley ISD spokesperson says they don’t believe the threat is credible, but they aren’t taking chances.
