North Texans Celebrate National Blood Donor Month Giving Blood Which Could Help COVID-19 Patients

(Fort Worth, Tx) — The American Red Cross is urging North Texans to share their big Texan hearts by rolling up their sleeves to give lifesaving blood.

On January 13th, Fort Worth will be joining other cities in celebration of National Blood Donor Month with convenient locations for people to start their new year by helping save lives.  Wednesday from 10am – 1pm you can donate blood at Billy Bob’s “Club 81” at Rodeo Plaza in the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Blood donors of all blood types, especially type O, are needed Plasma from whole blood donations that test positive for COVID-19 antibodies may be used to help COVID-19 patients.
