(Austin, TX) — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton wants more than a dozen stock companies to answer questions about the suspension of certain Wall Street trades.

Paxton issued 13 civil investigative demands to companies including TD Bank, E-Trade, TD Ameritrade, and Robinhood, saying they can’t limit public access to the free market.  Paxton says it “stinks of corruption” for the companies to coordinate in hopes of keeping their market dominance going.

The CIDs were issued after a Reddit group encouraged people to buy Grapevine based GameStop shares, pushing it up 950% over the past month.
