Gender Reassignment Surgery Could Be Banned In Texas For Minors

(Austin, TX) — Texas is looking to ban gender reassignment surgery for children.

North Texas Republican State Senator Bob Hall says the procedure should be off limits to anyone under the age of 18.

Under his bill, physicians who perform the surgery on children would lose their medical license.
