Abilene Eater To Participate In Hotdog Consumption Contest

(New York, NY) — A Texas woman is to compete in Nathan’s Hotdog eating contest.

KEYE TV reports Sophia DeVita from Abilene will feed her way toward the top of the hotdog eating contest during this year’s Independence Day celebration in New York City’s Coney Island. DeVita has already been a competitor in the annual event four-different times. DeVita came in third in the 2020 Nathan’s Hotdog eating contest when she succeeded in consuming 15-hot dogs within the contest timing window.

This year’s competition happens on Coney Island on Saturday, July 3rd.
