North Texas Skeet Shooter Helps U.S. Claim Gold

(Tokyo) — A North Texas triggerman is helping the United States bring home the gold in skeet shooting at the Tokyo Games.

Vincent Hancock of Fort Worth set an Olympic record by hitting 59 of the 60 targets, one off the world record pace, to take the men’s gold medal.

Amber English of Colorado also set an Olympic Record, hitting 56 targets.  She was three shorts of the world record as she took the women’s gold for the USA.
