Baylor Scott And White Requiring COVID Vaccine For All Employees

(Dallas, TX) — The largest non-profit healthcare system in Texas will require all employees and providers to get the coronavirus vaccine.

Baylor Scott & White Health announced the new rule today citing the highly contagious Delta variant. Almost all cases of COVID Delta involve people who haven’t gotten the shot. BSW workers will have to have either gotten both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson by October 1st.

The requirements also cover volunteers, vendors, students, and contract staff.
