North Texas Diver Comes In Ninth In Olympic Event

(Southlake, TX) — A North Texas diver didn’t win the gold in a particular event at the Olympics, but she still has the support of the home front.

Hailey Hernandez of Southlake participated in the final of the three-meter springboard event and finished in ninth place. After her six dives, the 18-year-old finished with a score of 288.45.

Fellow American Krysta Palmer finished third and took the bronze medal.
