(Austin, TX) — The Democrats’ quorum break at the Texas House of Representatives is over.

At least three Democrats have returned to the House floor in Austin.  It’s the first time in 37-days the House has had enough members present for the two-thirds quorum, allowing legislative business to be done.

The development paves the way for a major election integrity bill led by the Republicans to pass in the Lone Star State.
