The Ballpark In Arlington Gets A New Name

(Arlington, TX) — There is a new name on the old Ballpark in Arlington.

The Texas Rangers say Globe Life Park in Arlington will now be known as Choctaw Stadium. Rangers Chairman Ray Davis is excited about the new name saying it will increase Choctaw Casinos and Resorts’ presence in Arlington. The Rangers left the ballpark after 2019 for the Globe Life Field.

There are 19 college and high school football games scheduled for Choctaw Stadium this fall. North Texas SC of USL League One and the expansion Dallas Jackals of Major League Rugby also play matches at the stadium.
