Third Texas Special Session Announced

(Austin, TX) — Another special session of the Texas Legislature starts this month.

Governor Greg Abbott announced Tuesday he wanted lawmakers back inside the Texas Capitol on September 20th to tackle redistricting and requiring junior high and high school athletes to participate in sporting competitions of their birth sex.

There will also be legislation regarding COVID-19 vaccine mandates.
