(Granbury, Tx) – The Hood County News reports Jessie Frank Diaz of Granbury and Harry Lee Ives IV of Tolar, were arrested in connection with a June 28th homicide and other felony crimes.

In addition to the murder charge, Diaz is charged with “terroristic threat against a peace officer or judge,”.  The later charge stems from an incident last April where several bomb threats were called in to the Hood County District Judge’s Office in what investigators believe was an effort to shut down the court.  The Hood County Sheriff’s Office says multiple people were involved in the scheme and more arrests are expected.

The murder charge is tied to a fatal accident on Tin Top Highway that killed a Weatherford woman.  Ives was reportedly driving the vehicle that cause the accident.
