(Dallas, TX) — A North Texas man will serve ten-years in federal prison after pleading guilty to a plot to blow up an Amazon data center in Virginia.

The Justice Department says the FBI arrested 28-year-old Seth Pendley in Fort Worth in April after he tried to obtain an explosive device from an undercover agent.  Pendley entered his guilty plea in June and was sentenced last week.

He admitted he planned to blow up the data center as part of an attempt to “kill off 70% of the internet.”
